Love this… shoe manufacturers change their products as if they are sports shirts and expect runners to buy the latest - apparently best - one. As you say, the one that works for you is the best one.
Seven is definitely lot lol- it’s the most I’ve ever done! My previous record was 3 pair…but with two kids under age 4, I just have so little time to figure out gear!
I always think that good is the enemy of better and if I find something that‘s good and that I like, I need to find something better. It drives my wife crazy, because she sticks with the products she likes while I always like to try the new stuff.
I have had plenty of favorite shoes that I replaced with other models. Mostly it worked out. :)
That’s great! Maybe you have a gait that lends itself to a wider variety of shoes than I do? As a professional designer, I also know that most running shoes are generally developed for men and simply resized for women, which might contribute to our different experiences.
